We will not have playgroup Wednesday, November 26th due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
We will hold it again Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the church at 11:00, and every Wednesday after that till further notice.
Looking for some new books to read?
A few weeks ago, we did a book review activity, where several sisters discussed books they've read recently. We had a great turn out and got several ideas on good books to read.
Jewel Swenson shared Massacre at Mountain Meadow, the only account that the Church officially endorses. This book is not for the faint of heart, but it was good to know the actual story.
Cassi Penrod shared the following youth literature:
Ida B - Katharine Hannigan
On the Wings of Heroes - Richard Peck
The Tiger Rising - Kate DiCamillo
The Goose Girl - Shannon Hale
The Wednesday Wars - Gary Schmidt
The Giver - Lois Lowry

Hearing the Voice of the Lord - Gerald Lund
The Brothers - a series by Chris Steward
You: The Owner's Manual - Drs. Oz & Roizen
The Princess - Lori Wick
Vanished - Lynn Gardner
